Beyond the Veil: Community stream - The Raspberry Man

We were thrilled to hear when a member of our fine community announced that they intended to live stream a play test of Beyond the Veil. Creating a game is ironically the easy part, getting people to play it without incentive or reward is by far the hardest.

Brotherhood of the Dice

This Sunday just gone, November 16 2025, saw the awesome Brotherhood_of_the_dice launch into a supernatural investigation. Using the free Prologue rules, they were able to showcase how intuitive the Wrenegade system is. Within minutes they were deeply immersed in the story and working through the mystery presented to them by the excellent guiding hand of Overseer Lee.

For us, as developers, it was a milestone… seeing our creation being picked up and run with no interference from us pesky creators was a true joy to behold. The brave investigators gained confidence in the mechanics very quickly and the narrative unfolded beautifully over the course of the session.

While a resolution has not yet been reached, we are looking forward to a Part 2 in which the Raspberry Man will come to a conclusion, one way, or another!
