Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 5 September 2026

Wrenegade Studios LTD is committed to making our website, digital services and online content accessible to as many people as reasonably possible.

We want visitors to be able to explore our games, access information, download resources, manage their accounts and purchase products regardless of the technology they use or their individual accessibility requirements.

1. Our Accessibility Approach

We aim to design and maintain our website in accordance with recognised accessibility good practice.

Our target is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA wherever reasonably possible.

WCAG provides guidance for making websites more:

  • perceivable;

  • operable;

  • understandable; and

  • robust.

Accessibility is considered as part of the design, development and ongoing maintenance of the Wrenegade Studios website.

2. What We Are Doing

As part of our approach to accessibility, we aim to:

  • use clear and consistent page structures;

  • use appropriate headings and content hierarchy;

  • provide alternative text for meaningful images;

  • provide accessible names for interactive controls;

  • ensure links and buttons have meaningful labels;

  • maintain appropriate colour contrast;

  • avoid relying on colour alone to communicate important information;

  • support keyboard navigation where reasonably possible;

  • maintain visible keyboard focus indicators;

  • design interactive elements with suitable target sizes;

  • make forms understandable and appropriately labelled;

  • provide useful validation and error information;

  • support browser zoom and text enlargement;

  • create layouts that adapt to different screen sizes;

  • avoid unnecessary flashing or rapidly moving content;

  • provide controls for interactive content where appropriate; and

  • consider accessibility when introducing new features or content.

We continue to review the website as it develops and make improvements where accessibility issues are identified.

3. Using the Website

The website is designed to work across modern desktop, tablet and mobile browsers.

Depending on your browser and device, you should be able to:

  • zoom into pages without losing essential functionality;

  • navigate much of the website using a keyboard;

  • use browser or operating-system accessibility features;

  • use screen-reading and other assistive technologies;

  • move through content using headings and landmarks where supported; and

  • access the website across different screen sizes and orientations.

The precise controls for these features depend on your browser, operating system and assistive technology.

4. Keyboard Navigation

We aim to make interactive website functionality accessible without requiring a mouse or touchscreen wherever reasonably possible.

This includes elements such as:

  • navigation menus;

  • buttons;

  • links;

  • forms;

  • store controls;

  • account controls; and

  • interactive website features.

Keyboard focus should remain visible so that users can identify which element is currently selected.

Some complex third-party or custom interactive components may behave differently depending on the browser or assistive technology being used. We continue to review these features as part of our accessibility work.

5. Images and Visual Content

Meaningful website images should include alternative text or another appropriate accessible description.

Decorative images may intentionally be excluded from assistive technologies where they do not provide meaningful information.

Some artwork used throughout the Wrenegade Studios website is atmospheric or decorative and forms part of the visual identity of our games. Where an image communicates information necessary to understand or use the website, we aim to provide that information in an accessible form.

6. Colour and Contrast

We aim to maintain sufficient contrast between text, controls and their backgrounds.

We also aim not to use colour as the only method of communicating essential information or indicating the state of an interactive control.

Where colour is used to indicate selection, status or interaction, we aim to provide another visual or accessible indication where reasonably possible.

7. Forms

We aim to make website forms straightforward to understand and complete.

This includes forms used for:

  • contacting Wrenegade Studios;

  • mailing-list subscriptions;

  • customer accounts;

  • checkout;

  • delivery information; and

  • other website services.

We aim to provide clear labels, instructions and error messages where these are within our control.

Some forms and ecommerce functionality are provided through third-party website services and may therefore be partly dependent on the accessibility of those services.

8. Interactive and Animated Content

Parts of the Wrenegade Studios website may contain interactive, animated or visually dynamic features.

Where these features communicate important information, we aim to ensure that the same essential information can be understood without relying solely on animation or visual effects.

We also aim to avoid content that flashes in a way likely to cause accessibility problems.

Complex interactive components are reviewed as the website develops, particularly for:

  • keyboard access;

  • focus order;

  • accessible names;

  • screen-reader interpretation; and

  • usability at different screen sizes.

9. Online Store and Member Features

Our online store and customer account functionality are provided using Wix and associated services.

We aim to configure these services in an accessible manner wherever the available controls allow us to do so.

Some aspects of checkout, payment processing, member accounts and other third-party functionality may be controlled by the relevant service provider rather than directly by Wrenegade Studios.

If you experience an accessibility problem that prevents you from completing a purchase or accessing your account, please contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to provide assistance or an alternative way of accessing the service.

10. Downloadable Documents and PDFs

Our website contains or may contain downloadable documents, including:

  • tabletop roleplaying game rulebooks;

  • adventures and investigations;

  • character sheets;

  • reference materials;

  • promotional documents; and

  • other PDF resources.

Tabletop roleplaying publications can contain complex layouts, illustrations, tables, forms and other visual elements.

As a result, some downloadable documents, particularly older publications or documents created primarily for print use, may not provide the same level of accessibility as the website itself.

We are continuing to consider accessibility when creating and updating digital publications.

If you require information from one of our downloadable documents in a different or more accessible format, please contact us. We will make reasonable efforts to provide an appropriate alternative where possible.

11. Third-Party Content and Services

Our website may link to or integrate services operated by third parties, including:

  • Wix;

  • payment providers;

  • Google;

  • Meta;

  • Kickstarter;

  • social media platforms;

  • video platforms; and

  • other external websites or services.

We cannot directly control the accessibility of websites, applications or interfaces operated independently by third parties.

Where a third-party service creates an accessibility barrier to accessing a Wrenegade Studios service, please let us know so that we can investigate whether an alternative can reasonably be provided.

12. Known Limitations

Our website is continually being developed and reviewed.

We do not currently claim that every page, downloadable document or third-party component fully conforms to every WCAG 2.2 Level AA success criterion.

Potential limitations may include:

  • older PDF documents that were originally designed primarily for print;

  • complex game documents containing tables, illustrations or interactive forms;

  • third-party services over which we have limited technical control; and

  • custom or interactive website features that may behave differently with particular combinations of browsers and assistive technologies.

We aim to identify and address significant accessibility barriers as part of ongoing website maintenance.

13. Alternative Formats and Reasonable Adjustments

If you cannot access information, content or functionality because of an accessibility issue, please contact us.

Where reasonably possible, we can consider alternatives such as:

  • providing information in a different digital format;

  • providing information as plain text;

  • assisting with an order or website process;

  • providing additional information about visual content; or

  • finding another reasonable way for you to access the relevant service.

Please tell us what you are trying to access and, if you are comfortable doing so, what format or adjustment would help.

You will not be charged for a reasonable accessibility adjustment.

14. Reporting an Accessibility Problem

Accessibility works best when problems are reported to us.

If you encounter an accessibility issue on the Wrenegade Studios website, please contact:

contact@wrenegadestudios.com

It is helpful if you can include:

  • the page or feature you were using;

  • a description of the problem;

  • the device and browser you were using, where relevant;

  • any assistive technology involved, where relevant; and

  • what you were trying to accomplish.

You do not need to provide information about a disability or medical condition in order to report an accessibility problem.

We will review reported issues and make reasonable efforts to resolve accessibility barriers where we can.

15. Accessibility Testing

Accessibility is considered throughout the design and development of the website.

Testing may include a combination of:

  • automated accessibility checks;

  • manual keyboard testing;

  • checking alternative text and accessible names;

  • reviewing colour contrast;

  • testing responsive layouts;

  • reviewing focus behaviour;

  • checking forms and interactive controls; and

  • testing with accessibility tools where appropriate.

Automated testing alone cannot identify every accessibility issue, so we also use manual review where reasonably possible.

16. Our Accessibility Target

Our aim is to work towards and maintain WCAG 2.2 Level AA across the main Wrenegade Studios website.

This statement of intent should not be interpreted as a formal claim that every part of the website currently achieves full WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance.

Accessibility is an ongoing process, particularly as new content, products and functionality are added.

17. Legal Context

Wrenegade Studios is a private company and is not a public-sector body subject to the specific website accessibility statement requirements applying to public-sector websites.

However, Wrenegade Studios recognises its responsibilities as a service provider under applicable equality legislation, including the Equality Act 2010, and the duty to make reasonable adjustments for disabled people where required.

We also believe that making our website and products more accessible provides a better experience for everyone.

18. Changes to This Statement

We may update this Accessibility Statement as:

  • the website changes;

  • accessibility improvements are implemented;

  • new accessibility issues are identified;

  • new products or services are introduced; or

  • relevant standards or legal requirements change.

The latest version will be published on this website.

The date at the top of this page shows when the statement was last updated.
