Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 5 September 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Wrenegade Studios website and any purchases, downloads, accounts or other services made available through it. Please read these terms carefully before using our website or placing an order. By using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you purchase a product from us, these terms also form part of the contract between you and Wrenegade Studios LTD. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. About Us

This website is operated by:

Wrenegade Studios LTD
Company number: 14974804
Registered office: 156 Whitehall Road, Drighlington, Bradford, England, BD11 1AU
Email: contact@wrenegadestudios.com

Wrenegade Studios LTD is an independent UK tabletop game publisher. References in these terms to "Wrenegade Studios", "we", "us" or "our" mean Wrenegade Studios LTD. References to "you" or "your" mean the person accessing the website, creating an account or purchasing or downloading a product.

2. Using Our Website

You may use our website for lawful personal or commercial purposes consistent with these terms. You must not:

  • use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;

  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, customer accounts, databases, servers or other systems;

  • deliberately introduce viruses, malware or other harmful material;

  • interfere with the operation or security of the website;

  • use automated systems to scrape, copy or extract substantial portions of the website without our permission;

  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity;

  • use the website in a way that infringes another person's rights; or

  • reproduce or exploit our intellectual property except as expressly permitted.

We may take reasonable steps to prevent or restrict misuse of our website.

3. Website Availability

We aim to keep the website available and functioning correctly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may temporarily suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary for:

  • maintenance;

  • security;

  • technical problems;

  • updates;

  • changes to our services; or

  • circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We may change, remove or update website content or functionality from time to time. Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have in relation to products or services you have already purchased.

4. Accounts and Membership

Some areas of our website may allow you to create a Wrenegade Studios customer or member account. You are responsible for:

  • providing accurate information;

  • keeping your account information reasonably up to date;

  • keeping your login details secure; and

  • notifying us if you believe somebody has gained unauthorised access to your account.

You must not knowingly allow another person to use your account in a way that breaches these terms. We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe it is being used fraudulently, unlawfully, to abuse our services or in serious breach of these terms. Where appropriate, we will attempt to contact you before taking such action. Closing or suspending an account does not remove any statutory rights you have in relation to purchases already made.

5. Products

We may sell or provide products including:

  • tabletop roleplaying game books;

  • digital rulebooks and supplements;

  • downloadable PDF products;

  • adventures and investigations;

  • character sheets and gaming resources;

  • accessories;

  • merchandise;

  • physical books and printed products;

  • free digital products; and

  • other Wrenegade Studios material.

Product availability may change from time to time.

6. Product Information

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, specifications, prices and other information displayed on our website are accurate. However, minor differences may occur. For example:

  • colours may appear differently depending on your screen;

  • physical products may have minor manufacturing variations;

  • packaging may change;

  • product images may contain illustrative mock-ups;

  • digital products may receive corrections or updates; and

  • dimensions and weights may be approximate where stated as such.

Any material characteristics of a product will be described before purchase. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights if a product is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet the requirements of applicable consumer law.

7. Prices

Prices will be displayed on the relevant product page and during checkout. The price charged will be the price shown when you place your order, subject to the correction of obvious pricing errors as described below. Where applicable, delivery charges, taxes or other unavoidable charges will be displayed or calculated before you complete your purchase. If different currencies are available on the website, the currency applying to your order will be displayed during checkout.

8. Pricing Errors

Despite taking reasonable care, a product may occasionally be listed at an incorrect price because of a technical or administrative error. If we discover an obvious pricing error before accepting your order, we may contact you and give you the option to purchase the product at the correct price or cancel the order. If we cannot contact you within a reasonable period, we may cancel the affected order and refund any payment already made. We will not use this provision to change an agreed price merely because we later decide that a different price would have been preferable.

9. Placing an Order

Our website will show the main steps required to place an order. Before completing your purchase, you will have an opportunity to review your order and correct errors. By clicking the final payment or order button, you are submitting an order for the products shown at the price and on the terms displayed during checkout. Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.

10. Order Acceptance

After placing an order, you will normally receive an electronic acknowledgement or confirmation. A contract for the purchase of a product is formed when we accept your order and provide confirmation of that acceptance. If we are unable to accept an order, we will inform you and will not charge you for the affected product or will refund any payment already taken. Reasons we may be unable to accept an order include:

  • a product being unavailable;

  • an inability to authorise payment;

  • restrictions on delivery to a particular location;

  • an obvious error in the price or product description;

  • suspected fraud or unlawful activity; or

  • a legal restriction preventing us from fulfilling the order.

We will not refuse orders for discriminatory or otherwise unlawful reasons.

11. Payment

Available payment methods will be displayed during checkout. Payments are processed through third-party payment providers integrated with our website. You must be authorised to use the payment method supplied when placing an order. We do not normally receive or store your complete payment card details. More information about how payment-related personal information is handled can be found in our Privacy Policy.

12. Physical Products

Where you purchase a physical product, we will deliver it to the address supplied during checkout. Delivery options, charges and estimated times will be displayed where applicable before your order is completed. Further information is available in our Delivery & Shipping Policy. Unless another delivery period has been agreed with you, we will aim to deliver goods within the period required by applicable consumer law. If circumstances outside our reasonable control cause a delay, we will take reasonable steps to inform you and minimise the effect of the delay. Your legal rights in relation to delayed, missing, damaged or faulty goods are not affected by these terms.

13. Digital Products

Some products are supplied digitally, including PDFs and other downloadable resources. The relevant product page will identify the product as digital where appropriate. Digital products may be made available through:

  • a download link;

  • your customer account;

  • an order confirmation;

  • email; or

  • another method described during checkout.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have suitable software and equipment to access the digital format described on the product page. Where reasonably possible, we will describe any significant technical requirements or compatibility restrictions before purchase.

14. Immediate Digital Downloads and Cancellation Rights

UK consumer law provides cancellation rights for many distance contracts. Different rules apply where digital content is supplied immediately. Where you ask us to begin supplying paid digital content during the normal cancellation period, we may ask you to:

  • expressly consent to the digital content being supplied immediately; and

  • acknowledge that you will lose your normal right to cancel once supply of the digital content begins.

Where required by law, this consent and acknowledgement will be obtained during the purchase process. If the legal requirements for removing the cancellation right have not been satisfied, your statutory cancellation rights remain unaffected. Nothing in these terms removes any rights you may have where digital content is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not meet the requirements of applicable consumer law.

15. Licence for Digital Products

Unless a product expressly states otherwise, purchasing or downloading a Wrenegade Studios digital product gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use that product for your own personal tabletop gaming use. You may, where reasonably necessary for personal gameplay:

  • download and store the product on your own devices;

  • print copies for your own personal use;

  • use the product during private tabletop roleplaying sessions; and

  • print player-facing materials for members of your own gaming group where the product is intended to be used in that way.

Unless we expressly give permission, you may not:

  • sell or resell the digital files;

  • upload them to file-sharing websites;

  • distribute copies publicly;

  • make the files available for unrestricted download;

  • reproduce substantial portions in another publication;

  • remove copyright or ownership notices;

  • claim the material as your own; or

  • commercially exploit the material.

Some individual resources may be supplied with broader permissions. Where this is the case, the licence or permission accompanying that resource takes priority over this general section.

16. Free Products and Downloads

We may provide free digital products, previews, character sheets, adventures, resources or promotional downloads. A product being provided without charge does not mean that its copyright or other intellectual property rights are waived. Unless stated otherwise, free downloads are provided under the same personal-use licence described in these terms. We may use our store or member system to distribute free products and record downloads. Providing information required to obtain a free product does not automatically subscribe you to marketing communications. Where we invite you to join our mailing list, marketing consent will be requested separately where required.

17. Updates to Digital Products

We may occasionally update digital products to:

  • correct errors;

  • improve formatting;

  • address accessibility issues;

  • clarify rules;

  • make minor editorial changes; or

  • provide revised versions.

Where technically practical, customers who previously purchased or obtained a digital product may be able to access an updated version. Unless expressly stated as part of the product description or applicable law requires otherwise, purchase of a digital product does not guarantee that we will provide future editions, expansions or materially revised versions without additional charge.

18. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations

Your rights depend on the type of product purchased and the circumstances of the return or cancellation. Our Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy provides further information about:

  • cancelling online orders;

  • returning physical products;

  • faulty or damaged products;

  • digital content;

  • refunds; and

  • how to contact us about a return or cancellation.

That policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions. Nothing in either document limits or excludes rights you have under applicable consumer law.

19. Faulty or Misdescribed Products

We are responsible for supplying products that meet the requirements of applicable consumer law. If a product is faulty, damaged, not as described or does not perform as it reasonably should, you may have legal rights to remedies such as:

  • repair;

  • replacement;

  • price reduction; or

  • refund,

depending on the product, circumstances and applicable law. Please contact contact@wrenegadestudios.com if you believe there is a problem with a product. These rights are separate from any voluntary returns policy we may offer.

20. Pre-Orders

We may occasionally offer products for pre-order before their expected release or dispatch date. Where a product is a pre-order, we will identify this clearly before purchase and provide an estimated release or dispatch period where reasonably possible. Release and production dates can change. If a significant delay occurs, we will provide updated information where reasonably possible. If we are unable to fulfil a pre-order, we will refund amounts paid for the affected product. Any additional cancellation rights available for a pre-order will be governed by applicable law and our Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy.

21. Kickstarter and Other Crowdfunding Platforms

We may provide links to crowdfunding campaigns operated through Kickstarter or other third-party platforms. Backing a crowdfunding campaign is separate from purchasing a product through the Wrenegade Studios online store. Crowdfunding pledges are subject to the terms, policies and processes of the platform through which the pledge is made, together with any campaign-specific terms or information. Unless expressly stated otherwise, these Terms & Conditions govern purchases made directly through the Wrenegade Studios website and do not replace the terms applying to a third-party crowdfunding platform.

22. Discount Codes and Promotions

We may occasionally offer discount codes, promotions or special offers. Additional conditions may apply to a particular promotion and will be displayed with that offer where necessary. Unless stated otherwise:

  • discount codes have no cash value;

  • they cannot be exchanged for cash;

  • they may be subject to an expiry date;

  • they may apply only to specified products;

  • only one code may be permitted per order; and

  • they must be used in accordance with the conditions accompanying the offer.

We will not retrospectively apply expired or otherwise inapplicable promotional codes unless we choose to do so. Promotional terms will not affect your statutory rights.

23. Intellectual Property

The website and its content are owned by or licensed to Wrenegade Studios LTD unless otherwise stated. This may include:

  • game systems and game content;

  • written material;

  • illustrations;

  • artwork;

  • graphic design;

  • logos;

  • trademarks;

  • product names;

  • characters;

  • settings;

  • downloadable products;

  • photographs;

  • videos;

  • website design;

  • icons; and

  • other creative material.

Copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws protect this material. Access to the website does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you. You may view the website and use purchased or downloaded products in accordance with these terms and any licence accompanying the relevant product. Further information is provided in our Intellectual Property & Trademark Policy.

24. Wrenegade Studios and Beyond the Veil

Names, logos, artwork and branding associated with Wrenegade Studios, Beyond the Veil and our other products may be protected by copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights. You must not use our trademarks, logos or branding in a way that falsely suggests sponsorship, approval, affiliation or endorsement by Wrenegade Studios. Nothing in these terms prevents legitimate reference to our company or products where permitted by law.

25. User Content, Reviews and Submissions

Where our website allows visitors or members to submit reviews, comments, profile information or other material, you remain responsible for the content you submit. You must not knowingly submit content that:

  • is unlawful;

  • infringes another person's intellectual property or privacy rights;

  • is threatening, abusive or defamatory;

  • contains malware or malicious code;

  • impersonates another person;

  • contains deliberately false or misleading representations;

  • is spam; or

  • otherwise materially interferes with the operation of our website.

Product reviews must reflect a genuine experience with the relevant product. You must not submit fake reviews or misrepresent the circumstances in which a review was written. We may moderate or remove content where we reasonably believe it breaches these requirements or where removal is otherwise required by law.

26. Links to Other Websites

Our website may contain links to third-party websites and services, including social media platforms, payment providers, retailers, crowdfunding platforms and community services. These websites are operated independently from Wrenegade Studios. We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of third-party websites that we do not control. A link does not necessarily mean that we endorse everything available through that website.

27. Privacy and Cookies

Your use of the website is also subject to our:

  • Privacy Policy; and

  • Cookie Policy.

These explain how we collect and use personal information and how cookies and similar technologies are used.

28. Our Responsibility to You

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. In particular, nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence;

  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;

  • breach of rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under consumer law; or

  • any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable when the contract was formed. Nothing in this section affects your statutory consumer rights.

29. Business Use

Unless a product is specifically offered for commercial use, our products are primarily supplied for personal tabletop gaming use. If you use our website or products for business purposes, we do not accept responsibility for business losses that would not normally arise from a consumer transaction, including loss of profits, business interruption or loss of business opportunity, except where liability cannot legally be excluded. Commercial publication, resale or reproduction of our intellectual property requires appropriate permission or a separate licence unless otherwise expressly stated.

30. Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control

We are not responsible for delay or failure to perform an obligation where this results from circumstances genuinely outside our reasonable control. Examples may include:

  • significant postal or courier disruption;

  • natural disasters;

  • widespread telecommunications failures;

  • major infrastructure failures;

  • industrial action affecting third-party services;

  • government restrictions; or

  • other comparable events.

Where such an event affects an order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect and communicate with you. Your statutory rights, including any rights relating to excessive delay or cancellation, remain unaffected.

31. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes may be made to reflect:

  • changes to our website;

  • new products or services;

  • changes to our business;

  • changes in technology; or

  • legal or regulatory requirements.

The version applying to a purchase will normally be the version in force when the contract for that purchase was formed. Changes to these terms will not retrospectively remove rights you have under an existing contract. The current version will always be available on our website. The date at the top of this page shows when these terms were last updated.

32. If Part of These Terms Is Invalid

If a court or other competent authority decides that part of these terms is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply so far as legally possible.

33. No Waiver

If we do not immediately enforce a right under these terms, this does not mean that we have waived that right.

34. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions and contracts formed through our website are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom or another country, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections provided by the laws of the country in which you live. Nothing in these terms removes rights that applicable law does not allow you to waive.

35. Resolving Problems

If you have a problem with an order, product or service, please contact us so that we can attempt to resolve the issue. Email: contact@wrenegadestudios.com

Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising any right to seek another remedy or bring proceedings where applicable.
